ART LOISAIDA Foundation, aka Los Artistas de Loisaida is a multicultural group of painters, photographers, printmakers and sculptors, many of whom create work in or are inspired by New York’s community gardens.
This show is entitled “GREETINGS FROM THE GARDENS- ARTISTAS DE LOISAIDA, SMALL WORKS SHOW” the largest pieces being 12″ x 12″. The show opens on December 3, 2008, and runs until December 30th, Mondays and Wednesdays from 5 until 8pm; Tuesday & Thursdays 3-6 pm, Friday & Saturday 2-5 pm (check NYCPL-Tompkins Square website for closing hours).
