New Secret Lives of Public Places tour. Join us on April 13th on a tour of the Amateur Comedy Club and Sniffen Court and the De Lamar Mansion. The Amateur Comedy Club is America’s oldest continuing performing theatrical society in the country, the Amateur Comedy Club moved to Sniffen Court in 1918. Past President of the Club Scott Glascock will guide participants through the theater space where the upcoming production’s set is under constructionThe Club occupies two carriage houses converted for its theatrical use. The De Lamar Mansion is an opulent turn-of-the-century structure which recently underwent a full renovation. Mr. Przemyslaw Balcerzyk, Consul of the Department of Public Diplomacy and Cooperation with Polonia will lead a tour through the grandiose mansion.
