The Green-Wood Historic Fund proudly presents Chester Burger, America’s first on-air television news reporter, former national manager of CBS Television News, founder of the nation’s first communications management consulting firm, a photographer whose works are in the collections of the New-York Historical Society and the New York Public Library, and author of the newly published Unexpected New York: 87 Discoveries in Familiar Places.

One of those 87 places is Green-Wood Cemetery, which Burger has photographed for many years. The lecture and book signing will be followed by a walk, led by the author and Green-Wood Cemetery historian Jeff Richman, to “unexpected” Green-Wood gravesites.
