Bronx Landmarks- Longwood Historic District and Extension

Longwood/ Longwood Extension

Primarily residential, this district features houses in Renaissance and Romanesque Revival designed by Warren C. Dickerson between 1897 and 1900. They are set back from the street with fenced-in gardens giving the area a sense of openness. Designated July 8, 1980 and extended February 8, 1983.
