Douglaston

This early 20th-century planned suburb is made up of over 600 single-family homes in Tudor, Mediterranean, colonial revival, and arts-and-crafts styles. Eight of the houses were designed by Josephine Wright Chapman, one of the country’s earliest, successful female architects. Designated June 24, 1997.
