The story of a unique summer bungalow community as it flourished and met its end. Oral history, vintage photos, and a poignant photo essay by Michael Falco

Spanish Camp: Artist & Curators Talk

Photographer Michael Falco, Jim O’Grady and Diane Matyas discuss this important new exhibit on one of Staten Island’s most intriguing communities.

That Ever Loyal Island: Staten Island and the American Revolution with Professor and Author Phillip Papas
Saturday, October 27th, 2pm
Join Professor of history, Phillip Papas, for a discussion on his recent book which recounts Staten Island’s Revolutionary wartime allegiance to the British Crown. Professor Papas will sign copies of his book, which will be available for sale.

Walking Tour of St. George Highlighting Its Nautical History
Sunday, October 28th, 12 noon

In celebration of the reissue of New York Municipal Ferryboats, Patricia Salmon will lead a lively talk and tour focusing on the Staten Island Ferry, the New York Harbor, and the Saint George waterfront. Geared for adults. Register by e-mail or call 718.727.1135 x123.
