You may think you know the West Village, but there’s  much more to Greenwich Village than meets the eye. The Greenwich Village Historic District is one of the oldest, largest and most well-known historic districts in New York City but what about its tinier brethren?

Do you know what George Washington, John Adams  Aaron Burr, and John Jacob Astor all have in common? What does Trinity Church have to do with the Village? Where are thousands of human remains hidden in the area?

Join us and discover the answer to all these questions and more on a walking tour of three lesser-known historic districts: Charlton – King  – Vandam; Macdougal-Sullivan Gardens and Greenwich Village HD extension II.

We will be ending our educational outing at Houston Hall 222 West Houston for a cash happy hour, at 6pm.

Can’t make it to the tour at 5? We’ll see you at the bar!
