East Village Interfaith Open House – Every Thursday Evening

When was the last time you visited a Mosque, a Synagogue, a Hindu Temple, and several Churches all in one night?!!!

East Village Interfaith Open House beginning August 6
All Summer Through Sept 17th Every Thursday Evening
approximately 5:00-10:00pm

Living within 5 minutes walk of each other, we are local clergy, faith community leaders of Christians, Jews, Muslims, Hindu’s and Buddhists. We wish to stand for and support our common humanity, our deeply common values, especially in these increasingly challenging times.

Division is easy, but NYC’s history of tolerance and respect during many a tough day runs deep. This is a preventive measure, as well as an encouraging one of pro-active community and good neighborliness, a welcoming, a getting to know you.

We, spiritual landmarks and local faith communities of Muslims, Jews, Christians, and Hindus, join together to open our homes to you. We stand here as one diverse community dedicated to service, and united in our common values and humanity. We welcome non-religious, and religious of all denominations and faiths.

Modest dress is suggested for some of the institutions, thank you. If you would like to include your congregation, please have them contact [email protected].
