EVENT: VSA Tour of Moravian Cemetery, 11/4

Due wind & rain, the Moravian Cemetery Tour was postponed from October 28 to Saturday, November 4.
As a result, a few cancellations opened space for others.

TOUR THE MORAVIAN CEMETERY ON STATEN ISLAND
Saturday, November 4, 12:30 PM

Join Richard Simpson, historian of the Moravian Cemetery, on a tour of this beautiful burial ground. Established in 1740 by the Moravian Church, this cemetery grew from five to 114 acres through the generosity of the Vanderbilt and Dongan (first Governor of New York) families. The landscaped grounds include two fresh water lakes and three bridges and are the final resting place for such luminaries as John Merven Carrèrre, Alice Austen and John Louis O’Sullivan.

$30* for Members — $40* for Nonmembers
*Fee includes hired bus both ways between Staten Island Ferry Terminal and the Moravian Cemetery
