Superfund Me!
CORD (Carroll Gardens Coalition for Respectful Development) and FROGG (Friends of Greater Gowanus) ask for broad support in making the case for the Gowanus Canal to be designated a Superfund site. As many of you know, the Mayor opposes, advocating individual developer remediation of individual sites. Most local residents feel that only a comprehensive approach will achieve the goal of a healthy Canal.
