Since 2005, East Harlem Preservation has helped promote and preserve the neighborhood’s rich history and diversity. East Harlem Preservation volunteers regularly highlight and chronicle the work of local nonprofit agencies and cultural organizations.

Our website provides a wealth of information on large-scale developments, affordable housing, and health and environmental disparities to hundreds of thousands of residents, business and property owners, students, educators, and journalists each year.
