  1. Kathy has done an outstanding job of presenting Yorkville history. I was immensely impressed with Ms. Jolowicz’s in depth knowledge of both the general history of Yorkville and of course German immigration and settlement history in particular. As a native of Southern Yorkville, the exhibition panels brought to live a by gone period and for many of us “locals” an nostalgic era, my childhood during the 1960s. I highly recomend this exhibit to all newcomers to Yorkville: it is mandatory viewing.
