Tin Pan Alley Day 2021

The Historic Districts Council (HDC) is happy to help our Six to Celebrate neighborhood partner Flatiron/23rd Street Partnership BID promote TinPan Alley Day. HDC has been advocating for the protection of Tin Pan Alley for over a decade. We have worked with local groupsmedia outlets, the Landmarks Preservation Commission and produced a short video about the area.

Tin Pan Alley Day will be a joyful celebration of the official NYC landmark designation of Tin Pan Alley on West 28th Street — the birthplace of American popular music!
We’re also fundraising for the new Tin Pan Alley American Popular Music Project to continue the great legacy of the “Alley.” Help us further our mission to preserve and continue America’s unparalleled musical heritage by donating through PayPal or at the event.
