LESHP Blog
It has been a big month for us. We had a successful weekend providing tours of the East Village for Open House New York; Joyce Mendelsohn gave a wonderfully insightful presentation at the visitor center; I gave lectures at the Tenement Museum on the Sicilian Mafia, the New-York Historical Society on the history of vice and crime in NYC, the Bowery Mission for their 100 Year Anniversary, and sat on a panel with iconic preservationist Doris Diether at Dixon Place. If you missed any of it, check out our blog for these stories and other news, events and tid-bits:

Expansion?
We are looking for leads on a small gallery (or suitable) space to partner with in the area who would benefit from our foot-traffic. We have a growing collection of rare LES photographs, maps, displays and memorabilia that we are looking to display and possibly sell reproductions of, among other ideas. Please contact me with any leads.
