Today’s event was truly inspirational as we honored two notable leaders, activists and individuals. A large crowd surrounded the home of Richard Wright in Fort Greene, Brooklyn and then again at the home of Odetta in East Harlem to honor the lives and spirits of these creative and empowering people.
The event on Saturday was a success. The weather was lovely, the neighborhood was welcoming, the residents were gracious and the tour was informative, fun and personal. Thank you to everyone who joined and participated in the event. A special thank you to Richard George and Carolyn Greene.
