The New York Book Club and the Lower East Side Jewish Conservancy invite you to join us for a talk by Dr. Stuart Stritzler-Levine on the history of Lower Manhattan’s current and former synagogues. Dr. Stritzler-Levine, the Dean Emeritus of Bard College and Dean of Bard High School Early College, will discuss the cultural changes on the Lower East Side and the continuing Jewish history in our city.
