Tudor City Historic District

Designated May 17, 1988

Tudor City was the brainchild of the Fred F. French Company in 1925 and designed by architects under the direction of H. Douglas Ives as a middle-class city within a city. Part of the Garden City urban planning movement, the development includes Tudor Revival style apartment buildings and shops in a park-like setting.
