Biltmore Theater – first floor interior

Designated November 10, 1987

The Biltmore Theater’s horseshoe-shaped plan with a single aisle is highly unusual among Broadway houses. Its ornamental interior design is a fine example of the Adamesque style. Among its outstanding characteristics are its ornate plaster-work ceiling and handsome pseudo boxes.
