The Edward Mooney House is the only known town surviving in Manhattan which dates from the period of the American Revolution. It was built in the early Federal style of architecture with many unique details. It is a fine example of the domestic architecture which flourished in Manhattan two centuries ago. This house reflects Georgian antecedents in construction, proportions and design details.
