Herman A. and Malvina Schleicher House

This is a 2 ½ story red brick building that incorporates neo-classical elements associated with both the Italianate and French Second Empire styles, including one of the earliest mansard roofs in New York City. During the 1890s, the building operated as a hotel and was converted to an apartment building in 1923.
