Designated September 11, 1984
A late 17th-century rubblestone house, enlarged in the 18th century and again in the early 19th century with a wood-frame house addition. Located on the shore of Prince’s Bay near the southern tip of Staten Island, the Manee-Seguine Homestead, later known as the Homestead Hotel or Purdy’s Hotel, is characteristic of the rubblestone dwellings built by Staten Island’s earliest settlers.
