Designated July 17, 1973

Tree-lined streets, wide avenues and rows and rows of brownstones make up this turn-of-the-century Brooklyn neighborhood. Some of the finest Romanesque Revival homes in the country can be found here along with examples of Italianate, French Second Empire, Queen Anne, Neo-Grec and Victorian Gothic design.
