An imposing Beaux-Arts-style apartment house, the Royal Castle Apartments were built for the development firm of Levy & Baird. Six stories high with stone details, the building is an imposing composition complementing the dignified and exclusive nature of Clinton Avenue, which was once called Brooklyn’s “Gold Coast.”
