Saint Nicholas of Myra Orthodox Church

This building, designed by one of New York’s most prominent nineteenth century architects James Renwick, Jr., was constructed as the mission church of St. Mark’s, with the purpose of serving the local immigrant community. The building is designed in a Gothic Revival style with elements of Renaissance Revival ornament.
