The Zion English Lutheran Church is a fine example of Georgian Gothic architecture, and it represents a good expression of masonry construction. It is one of the finest ecclesiastical buildings of its time. It was built in Federal times and follows the Georgian rectangular plan with a front tower set forward. The Gothic windows were an unusual feature when the church was built.
