Join Kate Hush in collaboration with Aurora Lampworks on an exodus to the west – to the Island of Staten, where one of New York City’s still-standing, still stunning, and fully restored historic Movie Palaces known as the St. George Theatre resides. Here the only dragon we’ll be slaying is a glass one. Follow along on the restoration journey of an original handmade glass and steel chandelier, built over 100 years ago. From take down to color matching breakdowns, you’ll get a rare inside look into how new life was brought into the delicate and ornate glass panels that make this sensational chandelier really shine.
