Central Park West W.73rd-W.74th

Late 19th-century town houses, some designed by Henry J. Hardenbergh, architect of the Dakota, line the streets of this district. Early covenants specified setbacks and height restrictions. The 1904-1907 Langham, a large Beaux-Arts luxury apartment building, is also in the district. Designated July 12, 1977.
