HDC Requests Halt to 5G Tower Review Process in Joint Letter

On Thursday, July 6th, HDC and eight of our colleague organizations sent a joint letter to the Federal Communication Commission (FCC) and the Advisory Council on Historic Preservation formally requesting that the historic review process for NYC’s Link5G towers be paused until CityBridge and the FCC provide adequate information and a clear timeline for the review process.

We received a response from CityBridge on July 11th, and believe that the parties are working toward a better solution. We remain closely involved as a consultant to the Historic Review process, and will continue to advocate for clarity and equity in this review process.
