ALERT: 70 Lefferts Place to be calendared
Via Council Member Letitia James, we’ve had word that the Landmarks Preservation Commission has decided to calendar #70 Lefferts Place on this coming Tuesday for a public hearing.
This is a critical next step in the process of saving the house–once it’s on the calendar, no demolition permits can be drawn for it. Our work isn’t over yet, though; we will need as many people from the community as possible to come to the public hearing to voice our support for landmark status. We’ll keep you up to date on developments as they come in.
