Venice Marina is planning another mall again! The “Rainbow Lanes” building has been cleaned up. Golden Gate Inn has new ownership. The old “Bay Club” is heading toward 18 units on the little triangle (on Knapp Street)! Loss of many parking spaces all over the Bay area by DOT’s new No Parking & No Standing signs near intersections. Still too many street lights out. What has been done since the limited “down zoning” on a portion of 8 blocks in Plumb Beach to curb the rest of the over development in the majority of Sheepshead Bay (Condo Bay?). The historic Footbridge- does any body really care anymore? What about the loss of litter baskets along Sheepshead Bay Road, Where’s the Chamber of Commerce? Does it make a difference? Courier-Life papers sold to the NY Post – how will we at the community level be affected? These and other items affect our community.
