ALERT: Potential Landmarks To Be Calendared on Tuesday
OK, for those readers just tuning in – being calendared means the LPC is seriously, seriously considering designation and the property actually does achieve a small modicum of protection. This list is astonishing in its variety – including a number of Modern landmarks that people have been advocating for years, a number of Staten Island buildings from the survey that was done a few years ago & Morningside Park! [which would be the first Scenic Landmark in decades]. Not to mention the two Harlem churches scheduled to be voted upon or the Automat.
