In this illustrated talk, theatre historian Cezar Del Valle takes an affectionate look at the neighborhood movie house from the early film shows of the 1890s to recent developments with the Loew’s Kings and Shore Theatre.
It explores not only the great movie palaces but also the smaller places known locally as the “itch’ or the “dump.”
