No one knows better than LANDMARK WEST! the importance of volunteerism in our communities. We thrive because of the selfless giving of time by our dedicated volunteers — that’s YOU!
JOIN US on Monday as we take our landmarking message to the streets! LW! will be out and about in the immediate vicinity of West-Park Presbyterian Church (West 86th Street and Amsterdam Avenue), as just this past Tuesday, January 12, 2010, this magnificent edifice was designated an Individual Landmark by the Landmarks Preservation Commission. It’s our job now to get the message out, and we’re asking you to please help!
Have a spare hour? Available for 30 minutes? That’s all it takes! LW! will be manning street corners and handing out information between 11AM and 4PM about the history of West-Park and updating our neighbors on its new landmark protection.
