EVENT: Brownstone Brooklyn Garden Walk, Sunday, June 4

The Brownstone Brooklyn Garden District’s Annual Garden walk will take place on Sunday, June 4 from 11am – 5pm. 15 private and ten community gardens may be visited on the self-guided walking tour through the neighborhoods of Prospect Heights, Fort Greene & Clinton Hill. Highlight of the tour will include a 100-year-old garden still planted with its original crabapple trees plus many specimen plants originating from the Brooklyn Botanic Gardens, as well as the garden of renowned garden writer & photographer, Ken Druse.

Advance tickets are $15 and available at Tillie’s, 248 Dekalb Avenue at Vanderbilt Avenue in Fort Greene & the Forest Floor, 659 Vanderbilt Avenue at Park Place in Prospect Heights. Tickets are $20 the day, and may also be purchased at the BAM Garden (intersection of Fulton Street & Lafayette Avenue).
