High Bridge Coalition Hosts Water Tower Tour:

Highbridge Park, 174th St. and Amsterdam Ave.
The High Bridge Coalition is hosting a visit inside and to the top of the High Bridge Water Tower, the 1872 addition to the National Historic Landmark Old Croton Aqueduct that today is an elegant monument atop the bluffs of the Harlem River, overlooking the High Bridge. Prof. Sidney Horenstein of the American Museum of Natural History, one of the city’s most popular tour guides, will lead the visit to this unique site. Reception and light refreshments.
