IN THE PARK AVENUE HISTORIC DISTRICT
The current district, designated in 1981, includes most of Park Avenue from 62nd to 79th Streets; a few of the blocks north of 86th Street are also considered part of the district. Because of the shared history, architects and architecture of Park Avenue, it makes sense to include these blocks which, to date, have been omitted. We have a beautiful Avenue with great history and world recognition and
will be proud having preserved its legacy for future generations.
