Join HDC for our November Coffee Talk and learn about an important component of caring for our City’s parks. John Krawchuk, Director of the Historic Preservation for the New York City Department of Parks and Recreation will talk about his division’s mission, how it is funded, the unique historic resources that it is charged with, and some of the special challenges that face these resources. He will also highlight some case studies of recent projects that the historic preservation division has successfully completed. Come join us and learn how you can get involved in preserving the historic character of parks in your neighborhood!
