Preservation Vision:NYC Final Report Available
The Preservation Vision: NYC project has recently concluded. The final project report is now posted on the project website – www.preservationvision-nyc.org
In addition to the final report, which includes the results, ideas and observations of this one-year project about the future of historic preservation in New York City over the next 25 years, you can also find reports from the various project meetings, workshop and survey on the website.
The primary goal of the Preservation Vision project was to create a temporary forum for professionals and interested individuals to discuss the future of the movement. This project has provided what might be, at best, a first step to sketching out some priority issues for preservation.
We invite you to review the findings of the project. It is our hope that other groups and individuals will pick up some ideas from this process to advance in the coming years.
Special thanks to the nearly 500 people who contributed their ideas and thoughts during this project. And thank you for taking the time to review the results.
Sincerely yours,
Kirstin Sechler
