In the Spirit of the many ‘charity balls’ and ‘benefits’ to build, maintain and expand the Staten Island Hospital, please join the Preservation League of Staten Island’s ‘Save the Staten Island Castle’ Coalition’ for a cocktail benefit to focus attention on the need to preserve and landmark the old Smith Infirmary/1890 Frost Memorial Tower- Original Staten Island Hospital.

Your help is needed to preserve this ‘one of a kind’ Neo-Medievial style building from demolition. The six acre site awaits ‘rescue’ and sensitive adaptive reuse to benefit the greater neighborhood and the whole Staten Island community for future generations.
While primarily focusing on preservation of the ‘Castle’, the evening will also celebrate the upcoming designation of additional Staten Island properties as official NYC landmarks.
