The U.S. Naval Hospital, built in 1830-1838, is a two-story, 125-bed Greek Revival structure in the shape of an E. The refined granite building contains a recessed portico with eight classical piers of stone that reach the full height of the building.

Brooklyn Navy Yard
The Brooklyn Navy Yard was established in 1801. From the early 1810s through the 1960s, it was an active shipyard for the United States Navy. There are four Individual Landmarks in the Navy Yard.
