Six to Celebrate Crow Hill Tour – postponed

Six to Celebrate Virtual Crow Hill Tour – August 18, 2022, 6:00 – 7:00 p.m. The Crow Hill tour will showcase many of the unique buildings that make up this fast-changing neighborhood. Crow Hill is home to an architecturally and historically significant brewery complex, buildings that contributed to Brooklyn’s Automobile Row of the early 20th century, and the large Jewish Hospital complex, now converted to housing, among other highlights.

The past and present of Van Nest is squarely tied into the railroad system of our nation. Whether it was the New Haven railroad in the mid to late 1800s or the New York Westchester and Boston at the turn of the 20th century, Van Nest has been and continues to be a transportation hub for this centrally located Bronx community.
