Rally against overdevelopment:
Notorious developer, Tommy Huang, has invaded Maspeth’s Mazeau Street.
The Juniper Park Civic Association and Councilman Tony Avella are demanding the forced demolition of a house that he illegally constructed there.
In addition, they are calling for the immediate downzoning of the rest of Maspeth, Middle Village and Glendale – a process that the Department of City Planning started in 2005 but still hasn’t completed.
